Airswift is currently in search of a seasoned Requirements Engineer to join a major client on a 12-month contract , stationed at their facilities in Redcliffe, Perth . To advance its green energy agenda and meet carbon neutrality objectives, a significant emphasis will be placed on the client's Heavy Industry projects involving the exploration and experimentation of diverse technologies tailored for powering mining fleets and rail locomotives.

A global operator of renewable energy looking to add to their ranks in a new renewables project in Perth.

The Role

This is a Perth based contracting role on an initial 12-month contract on a Monday to Friday schedule.

Responsibilities Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive requirement and document in the requirements management system Utilize industry-standard methodologies and tools to document requirements and maintain traceability throughout the development process. Manage changes to requirements, assess impacts, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product managers, development teams, and quality assurance engineers. Foster effective communication and collaboration to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and project objectives. Resolve conflicts and negotiate trade-offs between competing priorities and constraints. Define acceptance criteria and test cases based on requirements in collaboration with quality assurance teams. Participate in reviews and inspections to verify that implemented solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards. Conduct validation activities to ensure that the delivered product meets stakeholder expectations and business needs. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the requirements engineering function. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience as a Requirements Engineer in an engineering product development environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.' Proficiency in requirements management tools such as Polarion X, DOORS, Jama Connect, or similar. Experience with systems engineering processes and methodologies is a plus. Relevant certifications for Requirements Engineering advantageous. ABOUT AIRSWIFT
