Management - Agency (Human Resources & Recruitment) The Akron Group NT is a rapidly growing, innovative, market leading company in the government asset maintenance and infrastructure sector in the Northern Role The Division Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:Leading a team of 2 Contract Managers, 3 Administrators and 15 Team Members in the day to day operations of repairs and maintenance for the Department of Housing in the Palmerston Region.Mentoring and supporting your team. Conduct site visits to meet clients, scope works and generate quotes.Scheduling trades to complete works.Liaising with sub-contractors to obtain the most competitive prices, issuing sub-contractor orders and coordinating works to be completed.Quality control.Compiling and following up of invoices.Tracking all variations relating to the works.Control of in-house stock and keeping to budgets.Build strong client relationships and continually liaise with them to keep them up to date with the progress of works.Skills/ExperienceHave a minimum of 3 years' experience as Manager in the construction industry. Have an understanding of building maintenance works.Trade background desirable but not a self-starter capable of working without direction or micro- able to multi task well presented and an effective communicator.Possess excellent commercial awareness with strong relationship building, influencing and negotiating skills.
