Medical Advisor - Uki And Nordics

This newly created role will report into the Medical Director for Europe within this well established pharmaceutical business. You will be responsible for the regional implementation of the Medical Affairs strategy for the UK, Ireland and Nordics for a specialist drug/device therapy. Supporting the Medical Director as part of a close knit European team, you'll be working on medical affairs activities such advisory boards, KOL management and also hold responsibility for special strategic medical programs across Europe. This is a remote working role working from a home office (within the UK) and with travel expected within UK, Ireland and Nordic regions. Key duties: Build advocacy for company products and research activities among KOLs, including physicians, key academic centres, professional organizations, patient advocacy groups, hospital administration and payers. Prepare and communicate scientific and medical information. Lecture at scientific meetings. Participate in advisory boards. Conduct face to face KOL meetings. Implement communication activities at local and global congresses. Provide responses to scientific requests. Represent company at relevant congresses. Provide input in Medical Affairs and Brand Strategy Support the strategic Publication Plan Support internal education with clinical data communication and knowledge transfer. Provide scientific expertise to internal business partners. Clinical Development, Research & Development, Health Economics & Reimbursement, and Sales & Marketing. Ensure compliance with regulatory and health care compliance guidelines. Who we are looking for: PhD, MD or PharmD with ideally 3-5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/ medical device industry. Experience in one or more of the following therapeutic areas would be highly desirable: Immunology, Oncology, Solid Organ Transplantation or Dermatology. Experience of implementing a medical strategy in the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry We're looking for you to be a strong communicator and able to build relationships quickly. Excellent presentation and teaching skills for representation at scientific and medical events.
