Our tier 1 EPCM client is currently seeking a seasoned Senior Piping Designer to join their team working on a major non-processing infrastructure project for a tier 1 mining operator. This valued role will join a 35 strong and growing initial project team to develop and connect new ore bodies into their clients existing mining hub.
Based in the heart of Perth CBD, this position offers a dynamic opportunity on an initial 12-month contract with potential extensions. We are looking for an individual with significant experience in non-process piping design, particularly across mining related projects in an EPCM environment.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting, bringing expertise and ingenuity to drive project success.
What you will do Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and procedures. Assist in basic design following through to detailed design - non-process infrastructure, water connections - pipelines, dewatering stations - pumping. Provide technical support on gas crossovers - road, water & gas. Contribute to the development of implementations of practical solutions. Contribute to contractual requirements, management of risks and ensure work is completed to a high standard. Proficiency in MicroStationessential. Demonstrate a solid track record with a minimum of 8 years in Piping Design (2D & 3D). Miningnon-process infrastructure/ utility servicesbackground preferred. Acute attention to detail coupled with adept problem-solving skills. Need to be high energy and driven individual. The ability to thrive in collaborative team environments and foster positive relationships. Display exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
