Accounts Payable & Receivable Team Leader page is loaded Accounts Payable & Receivable Team Leader Apply locations Sydney, Australia time type Full time posted on Posted Yesterday job requisition id REQ-3116 AP/AR Team Leader · Overseeing daily accounting activities; including but not limited to: daily vendor invoice booking, organizing vendor payments; customer payment booking and AR managing.

· Reviewing all month-end closing activities, including but not limited to: Intercompany reconciliation; vendors/customers account reconciliation; management report analysis;

· Coordinating activities of internal and external auditors, fulfilling auditor requests for documentation and explanations, in a complete, accurate and timely fashion;

· Managing team of direct reports effectively by setting appropriate goals, providing regular coaching and feedback, identifying development gaps, mentoring and leading by example whilst ensuring adequate communication across the team;

Basware system implementation · Participating in project planning and contributing to the project management process using your financial expertise and problem-solving skills;

· Acting as the central point of contact for the stakeholders across all local and overseas teams;

· Understanding the business needs and owning the AP/AR function transformation that follows the system implementation;

· Liaising with the overseas Finance Shared Service Centre to streamline the business process and improve efficiency;

Business Partnership · Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager and support the ANZ Finance Team to provide effective planning, analysis and advice on all financial aspects of the business;

· Partnering with the senior management team to provide accurate and timely information that drives growth and cost savings;

· Other tasks as directed within scope of role and responsibility level.

Qualifications & Experience · 5-8 years of experience with solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable

· CPA/CA/equivalent qualification

· Exceptional stakeholder management skills to communicate with internal and external stakeholders within the business

· Demonstrated analytical, financial and/or problem-solving skills

· Advanced proficiency in Excel skills is a must and solid a Power BI skill is a plus

· Advanced understanding of all relevant accounting concepts and principles, including classification of transactions based on nature and function;

· Exceptional organizational skills to manage conflicting deadlines, focus on outcomes and drive for success.

· Previous experience in project management or financial systems implementation will be highly regarded

· Previous experience in Navision and Basware is preferred but not essential
