Central Adelaide Local Health Network Statewide - SA Pharmacy  Salary: MAS3- $125,970(p.a.)+ Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice BenefitsSalary: AHP5- $125,464- $137,222(p.a.)+ Superannuation & Salary Sacrifice BenefitsAdelaide CBDFull Time, Permanent RoleAbout the role The Chief Pharmacy Information Officer (CPIO) is a strategic, senior leadership position responsible and accountable for the development, implementation and management of SA Pharmacy information assets and coordination of these assets with service delivery and other digital health bodies such as Digital Health SA.Leads and advocates for the transformation of information systems, advancing technology and the integration of such systems to benefit the provision of patient care and business operations.Serves as a digital health leader for developing the strategic informatics plans and the creation of supporting policies, procedures, and practices. The CPIO will lead complex projects, programs and systems that support SA Health Staff to deliver safe, effective, and innovative care for South Australians as it relates to medication management within digital health systems.Provides subject matter expertise and leadership input into workforce, financial and capital changes required to support electronic medication management across SA Health.Establish SA Health and SA Pharmacy as state, national and international innovators in medication management within digital health systems.Management of digital health services for SA Pharmacy and digital health projects including digital transformation and workflows.The CPIO will also have accountability as the SA Pharmacy Digital Health Portfolio lead which plays a crucial role in advancing the use of digital health technologies to improve pharmacy services across SA Health to support all South AustraliansWorks closely with DHSA, the Directors of Pharmacy and Sunrise to support the provision of safe and cost-effective electronic medication management systems to ensure optimal health outcomes for patients.Day to day management of staff associated with the maintenance of SA Pharmacy information assets.Contract management of SA Pharmacy information assets and medication management systems.Management of relationships between the central support teams, Pharmacy departments, vendors, users, and relevant stakeholders in relation to support and maintenance, implementation of upgrades, new systems, or services.About us Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is a unique public healthcare organisation that serves health consumers and provides specialist clinical services to the health system in South Australia.
