About the opportunity

As the Lead IT Systems Support Analyst, you will take charge of overseeing IT operations and will lead a team of skilled IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.

Your role will also involve some project management responsibilities, allowing you to showcase your organisational prowess and drive projects to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities will include:

•Lead and manage a team of talented IT professionals, ensuring they achieve their goals and complete projects on time and within budget.

•Provide technical guidance and support to team members, tackling any issues that arise and ensuring seamless operation of IT systems.

•Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that align with the organisation's objectives.

•Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal departments and external vendors.

•Take the helm in managing IT projects, from planning and resource allocation to ongoing monitoring, guaranteeing timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

•Foster a culture of continuous learning by providing training and support to your team, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.

•Monitor and maintain our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware/software components, ensuring optimal performance.

•Efficiently procure and manage the inventory of IT hardware, guaranteeing that our organisation has the necessary equipment to support its operations.

About you

•5 or more years of IT experience, including 3 years in managing a team of IT support professionals.

•Strong technical support skills in networking, server administration and expertise in O365 and Windows Server 2008-2019.

•Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

•Inspiring leadership abilities, motivating and guiding your team members to achieve their goals.

•Exposure or experience in project management, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.

•A knack for thriving in fast-paced environments, where your adaptability and resilience shine.

•Previous ServiceNow administration experience would be highly regarded.
