Accounts Receivable - Sydney Inner West - Hybrid working - Permanent Your new company

Your new role



You will be responsible for the end to end Accounts Receivable process as part of a close-knit finance team. Working alongside an experienced Accountant and Accounts Officer, and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have visibility across the entire business. You will be joining the organisation as an experienced AR Officer and will be picking up with some new projects and a system migration. Your main duties will be as follows:



Processing invoices and bank journals

Processing direct debits, credit card and cheque payments

Allocating payments and daily cash receipting

Reconciliations using Excel

Releasing orders in line with financial risk

Issuing monthly statements

Sending and raising invoices

Matching and coding of incoming payments to ledger

Investigating discrepancies proactively

Collection of accounts as a backup

Maintaining compliance and financial policies

Build strong relationships with customers

Proactively seeking to improve processes



What you'll need to succeed



You will have at least 2 years of experience in a full-function AR role and will have excellent time-management skills. You will have experience of using large ERP software such as Oracle or SAP and any experience in system implementations and migrations would be highly desirable. You will have a customer-centric focus with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Having a reasonable aptitude with Excel and reconciliation skills will ensure that you can hit the ground running.
