Job DescriptionPurpose of the role:A key point of contact for clients and provide both pre and post sales technical advice and support. Liaise regularly and directly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as engineering, purchasing, production and quality, as well as senior company managers.Accountable for achieving sales targets and growing product/system sales within their allocated region.Ensure that company operating, and cost efficiencies are obtained, quality and safety standards are achieved, and customer delivery deadlines are met.Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:Researching and developing new CustomersMeeting sales targets and developing annual budgets with the HD ManagerInitiate and develop contact with key and target customers including Design consultants, End Users & OEMs to establish and manage strong long-term relationshipsManage direct sales channels for Hägglunds components and drive systemsCalculating Customer quotations, negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and company needsProviding pre-sales technical assistance and engineering system designs to allow for productionAnalyses of cost and salesPreparing sales & marketing reports for various stakeholdersProviding training and producing support material for other members of the sales teamSupporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing eventsMaking technical presentations and demonstrating how Hägglunds products and solutions meet Customer's needsManagement of projects alongside the sales team and other technical expertsDevelop and establish a high level of technical competence and knowledge applicable to our products, applications, and control systemsDevelop Regional Sales and formulate customer solutions related to Large Hydraulic Drives (Hägglunds products), while also promoting where practicable other Bosch Rexroth products and servicesPrepare & present technical and commercial quotationsProduce forecasts on market sales, growth, and profitDevelop and recommend pricing strategies based on both strategic and competitive considerations.Customer support and managementAssist the Service & Quality teams on quality, warranty and / or customer care issues.Travel to customer locations to provide face to face contactQualificationsWilling to travel regularly to various locations throughout Australia and New ZealandMinimum of 3-5 years proven sales experience in a similar roleDiploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalentMinimum Cert III Fitter and Machinist Trade Certificate or equivalent from a similar trade Plant MechanicExperience in Hydraulic Engineering/Production or ServiceCustomer focusedProficient PC and Microsoft Office SkillsAdditional InformationWhat we offer:Ongoing training and supportVehicle benefitsCompany provided laptop and phoneAccess to opportunities within a globally recognised OEM companyEmployee Assistance ProgramSocial Club, events and team buildingStaff discounts on Bosch and affiliated-brand productsStrong company culture and values.Agency Applications will not be accepted for this position.
