About the facility The Centre for Education and Training leads an integrated approach to clinical education and training, helping Barwon Health to achieve its education goals by delivering, supporting and promoting coordinated, quality education and training across health care roles in Barwon Health and collaborating with the Barwon South Western region. We comprise of an inter-professional team of clinical educators and support staff across allied health, nursing, midwifery, and medical disciplines, working together to develop clinicians who model excellent practice, challenge poor practice, and inspire others
About the role The role of Education & Training Manager - Allied Health will provide innovation, leadership and management within the Centre for Education & Training.
The role entails but is not limited to:
ensure a planned, coordinated, and effective education and training service is in place, aligned with Allied Health workforce strategy and service prioritieslead a collaborative approach to the strategic development of Allied Health Education to advance Barwon Health as a centre of excellence in health professional educationas a member of the CET management team, contribute to the development and implementation of unit-wide systems and initiatives including interprofessional education, events and relevant strategy and business plansAbout the culture The Centre for Education and Training Unit offer a supportive and collaborative interdisciplinary team environment, and a diverse and challenging work program that integrates the health sector and the education sector.
