Analyse major projects and identify OHS risks and controls, and initiatives to achieve OHS outcomes in projectsProvide subject matter expert advice on internal and statutory approval requirementsAdvise on OHS requirements to be included in procurement specifications and support the assessment of responsesLead the development of risk assessments and Safety Management PlansProvide expert OHS advice to project managers, contractors and other stakeholders across the organisation in the design, planning, preparation, and delivery of worksLead and support incident investigations; communicating relevant Safety Alerts and Lessons Learned as requiredChampion the Safety First, Zero Injuries culture in Capital Projects and broader Parks VictoriaWe're looking for someone with: Demonstrated OHS experience in the construction industry (OHS experience in client-side project delivery will be highly regarded)Demonstrated experience in managing OHS in built asset projectsDemonstrated experience identifying issues, problem solving, developing innovative, sensitive, and practical solutions, and providing strategic advice to complex issuesWorking knowledge and practical application of OHS legislation, regulations, and Australian StandardsA tertiary qualification in OHS or related fieldYour application will need to include: A current ResumeAbout Parks Victoria Parks Victoria's vision is to be a world-class parks service, ensuring healthy parks for healthy people.
