Your new company My client is a state government organisation that leads the delivery of education and development services to children, young people and adults both directly through government schools and indirectly through the regulation and funding of early childhood services, non-government schools and training programs.
Your new role
The Senior Systems Analyst will:have a good understanding of integrated IT systems within the Schools Systems environment to undertake effective testing, business systems analysis and design including high-level modelling, process flow modelling, process re-engineering and translate business requirements into functional specifications.analyse and communicate stakeholder needs by translating business requirements into software requirements whilst documenting and evaluating required data and information.develop and maintain knowledge of client business processes and make an active contribution to the improvement of these processes through inputs into the development, modification, and maintenance of systems.analyse technical processes to identify opportunities for improvement and design, develop and implement new and enhanced processes whilst supporting project management for business process changes.perform software quality assurance and testing activities to ensure delivery of quality systems to clients.contribute to business requirements analysis and preparation.conduct data analysis to drive decision-making activities.have effective stakeholder engagement skills and experienceKey skillsPrevious experience working within governmentWell-developed conceptual and analytical skills and the proven use of initiative in solving problems, including knowledge and experience in defining, implementing and enhancing business process.Demonstrable experience in leading and delivering analysis work on high profile ICT projects which had a particular emphasis on complex business process, workflow, data flow and business logic.Demonstrable experience in selecting, adopting and adapting appropriate business analysis methods, tools and techniques; selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.Experience in Change Management including determining the readiness levels of business users with regards to upcoming changes; uncovering readiness gaps; creating action plans and providing input to training material.Experience in a range of business analysis and software development approaches (e.g. waterfall and Agile).Contemporary knowledge of business analysis models and methods.Experience with SQL Server Management studio and reporting tools such as Power BIExperience and understanding of database systems and data management processes.Experience with Salesforce and Amazon Web ServicesData Migration experienceWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
