Join us in shaping the future of healthcare at Ramsay Australia!Seize the opportunity to make a lasting impact - your expertise is the key to our success.Join a culture-led digital strategy!Based in Sydney Head Office, St LeonardsEnjoy flexibility - WFH supported!The OpportunityRamsay Health Care Australia is searching for a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to support key programs underpinning our Ramsay 2024 Digital Strategy.The Data Architect will be responsible for visualising and designing an enterprise data management framework which describes the processes used to plan, specify, enable, create, acquire, maintain, use, archive, retrieve, control, and purge data.This position will provide a standard, common business data vocabulary, expresses strategic requirements, outline high-level integrated designs to meet those requirements, and aligns with enterprise strategy and related enterprise architecture.Your Key Skills and ExperienceMinimum 7 years' experience in a data related discipline, architecture or senior IT roleTertiary qualifications in Information Technology, computer science or equivalentExpert in data structures and delivering current state, target state data architecture including enterprise business information models, data dictionaries and data roadmapsExpert in data modelling including conceptualisation, database optimisation and of data lifecycles including but not limited to:

Data ingestionExtract-Transform-LoadData storage & joiningManagement of data projectsData quality / integrity checks

Experience in data migration, data extraction, data transformation, data loading, data quality, data cleansing, data validation and deduplication processesSolid understanding of established and emerging data technologies, data management and reporting technologies, knowledge of columnar and NoSQL databases, predictive analytics and data visualisation.Demonstrated experience in designing and managing large complex database environments, including performance optimisation, environment, auditing, security and release management.Advanced skills in one or more major corporate databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, Informix, DB2 etcDesirable Skills and ExperiencePrevious experience in the healthcare sectorAdvanced skills in associated database programming languages for Pipelining & General Purposes - Python, Scala, Java, C, C++, PHP, HTML5 or equivalentKnowledge of various development principles: Agile, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), DevOps, or MLOpsKnowledge of interoperability and health information exchange standards, including HL7 and FHIR.The OrganisationRamsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with over 70 Australian sites employing over 30,000 people.
