T he Perfect Opportunity

The Capital Works Team are seeking a motivated individual to support the delivery of Council's capital works program through the provision of civil design services.

Your role is an important one! You'll play a key role in preparing engineering designs and completing other related preconstruction tasks required to deliver Council's road and stormwater drainage Capital Works in a timely and professional manner. In addition, as the Senior Civil Designer, you'll also responsible for supporting the Team Leader in the technical/skills development of members of the Civil Design team in preparing engineering design plans, the peer review of designs, and team workload management.

We're really seeking an individual who possess excellent influence and negotiation skills, well-developed communication skills - both written and verbal, and a knack for problem solving and thinking outside the square.

You'll be passionate about going above and beyond traditional local government customer service levels as well as not only meeting, but exceeding customer expectations.

The Design team includes a bunch of Design gurus passionate about delivering the next design related project which includes a number of major urban and rural road rehabilitation projects, road reconstruction projects, drainage projects, shared paths, car parks and town centre revitalisation projects You won't be bored!
