Location: 380 St Kilda Road, Melbourne

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Part-time: 3-4 days per week (Hybrid).

New opportunity for a Senior Manager - Internal Audit & Advisory to join our Business Assurance & Risk team. Reporting into the Global Head of Audit and Risk, you will lead a global team and the creation and achievement of audit plans to successfully deliver on the BAR function's audit mandate.

As Senior Manager - Internal Audit & Advisory, you will deliver exceptional audit and advisory services, including analysing business processes to identify key risks and evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of related internal controls. You will identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of business processes and act as a catalyst for positive change by constructively challenging assumptions and existing ways of working.

To ensure your success in this role, you will possess: 15+ years' experience in internal audit (including a combination of a Big 4 professional services environment and work with large, complex multinational businesses subject to a high degree of regulatory requirements).

Well-developed communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to build constructive relationships with team members and diverse stakeholders while maintaining professional objectivity and the courage to deliver difficult messages.

Experience working on complex risk-based internal audits, drawing on a demonstrated capability in risk management, process mapping/flow-charting, process design, audit program development, audit testing and analytical skills is essential.

Ability to apply a business lens to technical areas, the aptitude to work across diverse business processes to develop a credible understanding of complex areas and the skills to translate technical matters into common business understanding.

Well-developed analytical skills and demonstrated capability of synthesising large, complex and varied sources of information into meaningful conclusions, trends and insights.

Aptitude working with technology, including SAP environments.

A familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley / J-SOX procedures and requirements.

Proficiency in international auditing standards.

Experience delivering audits of processes supporting international regulatory compliance (e.g. anti-bribery/corruption, trade sanctions and embargoes, personal data privacy, workplace safety, etc.)

Qualifications Bachelor of Commerce/Management degree or equivalent

Professional auditing designation required (CA/CPA/CIA)
