Job title:Senior Psychologist - Private Practice - Paediatric CaseloadWorking hours:Full-time, 38 hrs/weekSalary:$100K to $130K per annumLocation:Thomastown, Craigieburn, Doncaster or remote (flexible arrangement)Roles & Responsibilities:Our client has the vision of helping people to realise their potential has expanded to encompass diverse services and client groups, from NDIS participants with severe disabilities to TAC claimants recovering from life-altering accidents.. Due to the exciting growth, they currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven psychologist to join their team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will have the choice of working on and off site to provide high-quality service to a diverse group of clients. You will also be required to manage your own diverse caseload.As a Senior Psychologist you will be responsible for:Provide high-quality service to clients, parents and coordinatorsPossess strong clinical skills with ability to follow throughExcellent bedside mannerAbility to work independently as well as harmoniously within a collaborative team environmentUnderstand the importance of adhering to company policies, procedures and valuesAbility to work with a diverse group of clientsAbility to co-manage clients with different internal health professionals (OT, physio, speech pathologist, dietitian)Undertake comprehensive assessment of clients, including client background, problem behaviours, presenting symptoms, precipitating factors, perpetuating factors and protective factorsLiaise with other health professionals (e.g. GP/psychiatrist/ speech pathologist) as appropriate in order to ensure comprehensive assessment and delivery on duty of care to Soaring Health clientsDevelop and formulate clear diagnoses using DSM-5 and other psychometric tools (to be signed and approved by supervisor)Undertake cognitive assessments and write reportsUtilise CBT, ACT and other evidence-based interventions with clientsDevelop treatment plans to implement appropriate intervention strategies and treat complex needs of clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other behavioural challengesWrite formal reports summarising all relevant information when directed to do soProvide a skilled counselling response to clients; the focus is on brief counselling, from single session to approximately 6 sessions, but with the facility to carry some long-term clientsParticipate in individual supervision and group supervisionProvide, where appropriate, information about and/or referral to other services to assist in meeting clients' needs, including co-located servicesKeep confidential, accurate and timely case notes in accordance with the guidelines, as well as recording data on databaseMaintain client confidentiality and abide by the ethical guidelines as proposed by the Australian Psychological SocietyBenefits:Attractive remuneration:Above award salary package with regular performance appraisalFlexible work style:Select from clinical, community, in-home, telehealth or mixed consult typesGreat team culture:Enjoy working within a friendly team with regular social and celebratory eventsFlexible caseload:Select your favourite types of clients or a mixed caseload (e.g. peads, adults, disability, community, assistive technology, families)Work/life balance:Flexible working hours with a complimentary gym membershipCompany allowances:Mobile phone provided and use of the company carWork close to home:Clinics located in central Doncaster, Thomastown, and Craigieburn with public transport nearby and parking on siteCareer progression:Potential for team leader positionModern therapy resources:Latest resources including advanced technology (including VR headset therapy)Essential Criteria:MUSTreside in and hold full working rights in AustraliaQualification in psychology and registered with AHPRAExperience working autonomously to provide psychology consultationsCurrent driver's licenceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent bedside mannerThe ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a teamExcellent time-management skills with the ability to adhere to treatment schedules and meet deadlinesSpecial interest in working with paediatric clients, including those with developmental delay and autism, is highly favourable but not essential(desirable but not essential)Speaking a second language fluently(desirable but not essential)OND123
