The a2 Milk Company is seeking a Head of Technology & Operations to join our Sydney-based team and be part of a modern, cloud-centric workplace. This role will play a critical part in refining the strategy, operating model, processes and systems for the delivery and operation of information technology at The a2 Milk Company. Reporting to our Chief Information Officer (CIO), this is a key role within the IT function, and given the small size of the team, you must be comfortable both leading and executing the tasks as needed. Responsibilities Lead the IT operations team locally and globally providing clear and concise delegation, direction, structure, support, documentation guidance and mentoring. Work with the CIO and other members of the IT leadership team to refine, update and evolve the Group's IT strategy. Develop a vision and strategy for IT Operations and technology including end user compute, cloud applications, network, and cloud infrastructure. Working closely with the CIO and Group Head of IT Strategy and Architecture to develop technology architecture and engineering for the global a2MC group. IT Service Operations - change management; configuration management; capacity planning and management; network and workplace technologies management; problem and incident management. Cloud Services (IaaS & PaaS) - ownership and management of all PaaS and IaaS cloud environments. End User Services - support end user collaboration and communication. Identity and Access Management - responsible for the management of identity and access services including single sign on, MFA and privilege management. Actively participate in the development of annual IT budgets and day-to-day management of costs within the areas of responsibility. Actively support the delivery of business and IT projects when required. Skills & Experience The following skills are considered essential for this role: 8+ years in an IT management role leading and managing teams and people. 5+ years in a Technology Architecture role. Experience with modern workplace environments, specifically M365 and Entra. Experience with cloud management and configuration. Experience with cyber security management and operations. Strong collaboration skills and confident connecting with different stakeholders within the organization. Strong customer service skills and ethically focussed on business outcomes. The ability to evaluate and pilot innovative new technology in a structured and measured way. Experience managing competing requirements and ambiguity. 4 Litres of fresh a2 milk for each team member weekly.
