As the Technology Strategy & Engagement Manager reporting to the Head of Technology, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain a Technology roadmap that closely aligns with and supports the corporate strategy. You will oversee a team tasked with engaging key stakeholders across the business and will serve as the primary liaison between the business units and the Technology department, responsible for gathering requirements and defining the necessary platforms, applications, and systems. Additionally, you will act as an escalation point for any service delivery issues that may arise. Furthermore, you will lead an architecture team that governs detailed designs from various Technology departments. The objective is to foster innovation and maximise value across the entire Technology landscape while ensuring that solutions are scalable, innovative, adaptable, and aligned with both business and end-user needs. Key Accountabilities Overall responsibility for the delivery of the Technology roadmap across the entire business, including; Enterprise Technology Roadmaps Collaborate with the Corporate Strategy division to develop and maintain the Technology strategy to underpin the corporate strategy. Develop and maintain the Technology roadmap that will deliver the Technology strategy and ensures that maximum value is delivered from new or existing solutions and services, while addressing technology risk, technical currency, availability, capacity, security, efficiency and cost effectiveness. Builds strategic intelligence and identifies long term technology needs of Endeavour Energy. Lead and drive the development, governance and dissemination of architecture and technology standards, policies and practices for all applications, infrastructure, data management and integration standards for all applications, ensuring that the standards are published, updated, made widely available and are complied with. Consistently applies transparent decision-making processes to effectively assess opportunities, costs and risks. Clearly document the Technology roadmap with an appropriate cost vs benefit analysis to allow it to be used for regulated government submissions for funding. Business Engagement Oversees demand side management for Technology so they have the best possible commercial outcomes, are fit for purpose, have sufficient capacity and capability and meets business requirements while removing any unnecessary duplication. Actively manages relationships with the most senior stakeholders, and is the escalation point for issue resolution. Acts as the "face of technology" through a team of Business Partners. Ensures business demand for Technology services is well documented, prioritized and managed within the Technology pipeline of works. Technology Research and Innovation Provides strategic direction to the identification and assessment of new, emerging and innovative technologies, services and solutions to address business and end user requirements. Researches viability of new and innovative technology services and solutions. Provides strategic direction to the current and future enterprise architecture definition. Confirms and governs enterprise architecture design and maintenance of architectural artefacts. Qualifications, Certifications and Licences Bachelor's Degree in Computer science or related field of study Certification on Industry best practice architecture frameworks such as TOGAF SAP certification (Highly desired) Skills and Experience Advanced professional with more than 10 years experience in a similar/professional role within Consulting or Utilities sector SAP experience, highly desired Operational Technology such as SCADA, highly desired When we power together, we can achieve so much more.
