Why Your Role Matters:

Based in the Nucleus: Student Hub, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive team focused on enhancing the UNSW student experience. The Student Service Officer role spans a variety of administrative functions to ensure the effective operation of our Student Services as well as delivering high-quality enquiry assistance to our students resolving queries face-to-face, online or over the phone across the student lifecycle.

We're looking for a skilled administrator who is passionate about the student experience. As someone who has experience working in a high volume, fast- paced environment, you will be well-organised and have the ability to manage complex tasks and competing priorities comfortably.

Who You Are:

You will have a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and experience within student services experience alongside:

A commitment to excellent customer service and addressing complex and sensitive enquires. Well-developed oral and written communications skills and the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of staff, students, management, and external stakeholders Demonstrated ability to use initiative and judgement to interpret and accurately advise on administrative policies and procedures to resolve issues for students and staff Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently, and with attention to detail Demonstrated ability to multi-task, apply a flexible approach to workload, and react positively to unforeseen or unplanned events Proven ability to contribute to a positive team culture, work flexibly in a hot-desk environment and develop and foster networks with staff across the University.
