Details: Mount Stromlo High School is looking for a strategic, connected, and genuine School Leader C of Student Services to join our Executive team to lead and unite the school community. We are a Year 7-10 secondary school with approximately 850 students. Our community is centred around our values of respect, responsibility and learning.As a member of a kind, supportive and adaptive Student Services team, achieve whole-school goals and implement the school action plan.Co-lead and manage the Student Services team with a focus on high levels of engagement for all students through collaboration and data informed practice.Expertise in the application of tiered behaviour response models (eg PBL, RTI).Capacity to support staff to provide individualised learning plans programs and programs for students with complex backgrounds and need.Undertake an appropriate teaching load and other duties as determined by the Principal.Co-lead and manage the Student Services PLT with a focus on engaging students in learning using data informed practice.Eligibility/Other Requirements: A minimum of four years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification.Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (or eligibility to obtain).A current registration issued by Access Canberra under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.Notes: An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
