We are seeking an experienced Requirements Engineer for an Owners team vacancy working on multiple Green Energy/Renewables projects.This is a Perth (eastern suburbs) based role and 12-month contract. Your Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and prioritize business, functional, and non-functional requirements. Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive requirement and document in the requirements management system Utilize industry-standard methodologies and tools to document requirements and maintain traceability throughout the development process. Manage changes to requirements, assess impacts, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product managers, development teams, and quality assurance engineers. Define acceptance criteria and test cases based on requirements in collaboration with quality assurance teams. Participate in reviews and inspections to verify that implemented solutions meet specified requirements and quality standards. Conduct validation activities to ensure that the delivered product meets stakeholder expectations and business needs. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the requirements engineering function. Your Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience as a Requirements Engineer in an engineering product development environment. Proficiency in requirements management tools such as Polarion X, DOORS, Jama Connect, or similar. Experience with systems engineering processes and methodologies is a plus. Relevant certifications for Requirements Engineering advantageous.
