THE OPPORTUNITYAs a leading design and planning firm with teams across the east coast of Australia, Place Design Group is continuing to be instrumental in some of the most exciting and dynamic projects across these regions. Our Sydney Studio is currently working in multiple sectors from Open Space, Sporting and Recreation, Public Domain, Education, Health right through to large scale Master Planned developments throughout New South Wales. We are now recruiting for a full-time Senior Landscape Architect, offering the right candidate an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and growing Sydney team, with a focus on collaboration, culture and high-quality project outcomes.ABOUT THE ROLEWithin the Sydney market, Place Design Group has developed a reputation for delivering and designing unique, functional spaces both in the public and private realm. We are looking for an experienced Landscape Architect to join the team to collaborate on an array of new and exciting projects at various stages of the project delivery program.Along with your strong technical skill set, you will have excellent communication and team coordination skills and have a proactive and creative drive. You are passionate about team culture, teamwork and have a keen interest in being a part of (and driving) team design charettes, project planning workshops and team social events.You should have an interest in the Project Management aspect of your projects, as our Sydney Studio is lead consultant of approximately 60% of our work. At any given time, you will be looking after 3-5 projects with a support team.We are looking for someone who is excited by great design and thrives in a team environment.You will be loyal, committed and client focused. You will be able to balance priorities well and meet deadlines working within a supportive team environment.

You will work across:

• Develop strong client relationships• Preparation of design drawings• Project contract administration• Preparation of construction documentation• Provide advice to clients, both internal and external• Preparation of tenders, proposals, and submissions• Performing site visits• An interest in Project Management at all stages of the project • A strong desire to collaborate at all levels and across multiple layers of

stakeholdersEssential Experience / Attributes:

• Tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup• Solid graphic communication skills• Proactive self-starter with interest in the industry• Attention to detail and delivery of quality documents and communication • High level written and verbal communication skills• The ability to work autonomously and within a team• Good organisational and time management skills• Local regional knowledge and experience• Australian resident
