Career Opportunities: Finance Manager, MPC - Planning, Reporting & Analysis (24411) Requisition ID 24411 - Posted - NSW (1) - Permanent - Finance (FIN) - Sydney Metro (SMTR) We have an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our Reporting & Analysis team based in Stockland's Sydney head office.

The Opportunity - About the Role Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager this role sits within the Planning, Reporting & Analysis team. The role will primarily focus on the reporting and analysis of Stockland's Masterplanned Communities Business. You will provide monthly support and drive strategic decision making through provision of performance reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities: Business partner and lead commercial engagement with senior stakeholders in Master planned Communities Business Manage financial aspects of project development life from conception to completion, including testing financial feasibilities and assumptions to ensure reasonableness and business alignment. Lead financial planning and forecasting for the businesses during budgets and forecasts, consolidating and reporting results to senior management. Lead efforts in developing modelling solutions to capture returns for the portfolio and integrate the businesses into SAP. Contribute to ongoing strategic development of the emerging portfolio classes. Preparation of reports to monitor key performance drivers across P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flows. Preparation of ad-hoc reports and analysis for Senior Finance Leadership. Manage team of Analyst and Graduate Perform general accounting, provisions and accruals, providing commentary and insight, including review of operational month-end. About You You're recognised as a trusted, credible and collaborative business partner. A finance manager with a strong technical capability and ability to lead a team and support the development of your direct reports.You will have significant experiencein financial planning and forecasting in a fast moving and dynamic environment. Previous experience within Property Development would be highly beneficial.

To be successful in this role you will also have the following skills and qualifications:

Experience in commercial management, financial accounting, forecasting & analysis or planning and business insight in a similar level role Strong Excel skills is required Demonstrated analytical and financial modelling skills Demonstrated time management skills and working under pressure to meet deadlines Experience managing a team or mentoring junior accountants Appropriate tertiary qualification/s is required CPA or CA qualification The Stockland Proposition At Stockland we are a community delivering outcomes that benefit the community at large.
