The Company A MNC is looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to oversee APAC procurement operation. The Role
- Lead the procurement operations function, oversees the end-to-end procurement intake, sourcing, contracting and other related regional and local processes in Asia
- Design and implement overall operating model for in-house sourcing teams and offshore procurement operations teams
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Drive productivity in the procurement process & STP/Automation (volumes, capacity, cycle times) and use the capacity to deploy in sourcing activities
- Collaborate with Asia Regional & Country sourcing teams to develop and implement an efficient operating model
- Oversee the entire Operation resource on procurement activities include sourcing, operations, technology & tool and risk & governance support
- Partner with Head of technology and VLM to implement the procurement technology plan ("E2E")
- Partner with Head of Vendor Risk Management to ensure KRI targets achievement
- Be part of global procurement operations branding and comms strategy
- Build of Change Management capability across Asia procurement
- Bachelor's degree or above
- A minimum 10 years of operations experiences, preferably Procurement, Finance, or Payment relevant operations
- Experience working in global organization by leading a team
- Experience with end-to-end procurement process and operating model (offshore COE model), and Procurement P2P tools (e.g. Ariba, Ivalua) implementation is highly preferred
- Previous experience with financial institution or insurance companies is preferred
- Communication skills with internal/external senior stakeholders
- Cooperative attitude
- MS Office (EXCEL, WORD, PowerPoint etc)
- English in speaking & writing is a must, other languages will be a plus
