Contract Type: Definite (Until June 30, 2026)JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVEImplement and control of turnaround planning system, development of job packs and execution schedules that deliver pacesetter high performance in safety, environmental, and business in a cost-effective way.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESShutdown ManagementSet-up turnaround planning system in line with objectives and management expectations and train/coach team members to develop and deliver a consistent and accurate output.Identify & finalize major critical activities and initiate long lead / major critical spares well ahead of TA and follow up for PO issuance and delivery on time.Identify TA planning/ scheduling manpower requirements for planning and establish contracts. Ensure timely mobilization and coordinate for appropriate safety training for the team.Lead the team in identifying and creating purchase requisition for all other materials and consumable requirements. Coordinate with various technical team and stake holders on technical clarification and follow up for PO issuanceEnsure proper tracking mechanism with expediting team until receipt. Evaluate various options to ensure timely delivery optimizing freight costCoordinate for timely inspection and acceptance of material to ensure GR posting on time. Coordinate and follow up for resolving MDRSupport the team in identifying all TA service contracts in coordination with various departments.Support in preparation of contracts scope of work, bid documents and initiate service request. Involve and support the team in bid/ tender clarifications and participate in technical evaluation. Support and co-ordinate with Contracts section and all stake holders for contracts award.Lead the team in Finalizing Turnaround / Shutdown Packages incorporating process/production requirements.Support the team in coordinating/ tracking for Job safety analysis, rescue plans and other requirements leading to safe execution of TA.Coordinate and Supervise Major Turnaround / Shutdown preparation activities with Operation, Maintenance, Reliability, Engineering, and all related stakeholders.Coordinate in reviewing of all additional work request and scope request (AWR/ ASR) and track them for approval and inclusion in job list. Review the impact on cost and schedule and update management. Interact frequently with Inventory and Warehouse employees to review and assess the services provided by them.Coordinate post Turnaround reconciliation and stock inventorying process.Document job completion, verify time sheets and is involve in resolving contractual claims.Coordinate and participate in TA Risk assessment and in Lessons learned reports in liaison with all stakeholders.Lead the P6 unit shutdown team in securing and populating unit shut down work list and arranging resources on time.Coordinate and execute assigned unit shut down in coordinating with unit planning and maintenance team.People ManagementSupervise the activities and work performed by direct reports to ensure that it is carried out in an efficient and effective manner, in line with the annual business plans, and departmental policies and procedures.Recommend training and development interventions for team members to build their capabilities.Contribute to the development of Qatari employees. This accountability is applicable to expatriate employees only.Policies, Systems, Processes and ProceduresContribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices in order to increase productivity and operational efficiency.Implement all relevant security policies, processes, procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.Participate in various audit requirements and follow-up for completion of recommendations/ action items.Quality, Health, Security, Safety and EnvironmentEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security and environmental procedures and controls across the Section to guarantee employee safety and delivery of high-quality products/services.Support and lead the team in achieving plant Goals in Q-Safe, MSCM's and all compliance training.ReportingPrepare relative reports in a timely and accurate manner in order to meet the departmental requirements, policies, and standards.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEEducationRequired : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, I&E Engineering or any related disciplinePreferred: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, I&E Engineering or any related discipline.ExperienceRequired : 5-7 years of experience in maintenance and TA planning with aminimum of 3 years in a similar position in Petrochemical / Oil & Gas Industry.Preferred : 7+ years of experience in Turnaround/ Shutdown in Petrochemical/ Oil & Gas Industry.Other Job Specific Requirements and/or Vocational AccreditationsSAP Support/ Primavera P6MS OfficeLanguagesRequired : English - proficientPreferred : Arabic - working knowledge
