We are a 120+ strong team currently operating in India, looking to expand to South-East Asia, Europe and North America.IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:Read books and correct it for Audiobook creationEdit, add and improve the audio delivery outputIdeate and Suggest creative insights to authors with regards to converting their books to audiobooks.If needed, communicate with authors regarding editing queries via comments in manuscripts, note to authors, calls or emailsWork independently and report back to the Editor at Notion Press on specific tasks as assigned to youAttention to detail and a passion for editorial excellenceTroubleshoot and display the ability to deal with fast-track/difficult manuscriptsA PERFECT CANDIDATE HAS:Excellent grammar and spelling skillsStrong writing/editing/proofreading skillsHands-on experience with MS Office and AdobeBasic audio/video editing skillsAn eye for detail and being very accurate in their work along with critical thinkingImagination and good visual senseThe ability to be diplomatic with feedback to first-time authorsTo be able to give clear, accurate instructions to authorsTo understand their target audienceTo be able to make decisions independentlyTo be able to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAwareness of best practices in editing and industry trends in self-publishingSound like a fit?
