Managing the quality systems and ensuring that appropriate improvement actions are carried out to ensure continual improvementAuditing the quality systems and quality assurance methods of vendors and ensuring that improvements are being implemented on a continual basis.Coordinating with vendors to ensure continuous reduction in defects of incoming materials.Coordinating with operations to ensure continuous reduction in defects or non-conformities during various processes.Carrying out the functions of an M.R.Regular auditing of ISO procedures. Setting up and implementing systems which lead to TS 16949 certification.Identifying inspection methods to identify product and process defects and carrying out activities that would result in lower variabilityBeing a part of the team responsible for the selection, appointment, and training of other members of the QA, Vendor development, and operations personnel.Analysis of field complaints and implementation of appropriate preventive actions.Co-ordinate with Product Engineering Group for quality planning of new products being developed.Documentation and management of quality, vendor development, and operations related documentationTraining and other activities, which aid organizational growth as well as the development of the organization's manpower.Well conversant with quality upgradation techniquesExperience in gear manufacturing industries of industrial products would be preferred.
