Who we are / About us : Blair & Boyd Estate Management Ltd are a residential estate agent based in Randalstown, Co. Antrim. Randalstown has been consistently voted as the best village/small town over the past few years and we are proud to have been serving the people of Randalstown for over 20 years. We look after property sales and lettings, with most of our properties being in either Randalstown or Antrim although we have a few further afield! What we are looking for / The position :We are a small company and now require an Accounts assistant to look after the bookwork. This position will include paying landlords and tradesmen and using QuickBooks to keep the accounts in order. The position will be full time hours, Monday to Friday, and based within our office on New Street in Randalstown. Additional general office duties will also be included within the job description. Roles & Responsibilities: Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, and scanning documents Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office Manage and organize office files, records, and documents Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and correspondence Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate records- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate individuals Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple team members Skills / Requirements: Knowledge & experience of QuickBooks or similar for financial management tasks Proven experience as an accounts assistant or in a related role Proficient in using computerized systems for data entry and record keeping, specific experience in using Excel Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Ability to type accurately and efficiently Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines Salary / Benefits: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £22,500 - £24,000 Pension Scheme Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
