SAP ABAP LeadPosition: SAP ABAP LeadJoining Time: Immediate to 15 daysBudget: INR 170K per monthLocation: Whitefield, BangaloreWork Mode: 2 days per week from officeSAP ABAP Relevant Experience: 7 to 9 yearsDescription:The SAP ABAP Lead will be responsible for overseeing and executing ABAP development projects within the organization. They will demonstrate expertise in SDLC methodologies and possess extensive knowledge of SAP ABAP development framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of S4 ABAP for HANA, SAP business documents, master data, transaction data, and integration links across primary modules such as SD, MM, FICO, and PP.Key Responsibilities:Execute application development in ABAP within ECC 5.0 and higher systems, with a core strength in ABAP programming.Provide technical analysis and develop applications with a clear understanding of SAP business documents, master data, and transaction data across SD, MM, FICO, and PP modules.Develop applications using various coding options within SAP, including but not limited to Business Add-ins (BADI), Enhancements, Business Application Programmatic Interface (BAPI), User Exits, Dialog programming, Reports, SAP Scripts & SMARTFORMS, ADOBE FORMS, Interfaces, and Conversion programs.Ensure adherence to SAP layers of abstraction, including Open SQL vs. Native SQL, Data Dictionary, and Operating system commands.Utilize ABAP Objects for development tasks and provide root cause analysis using SAP tools such as ABAP Debugger, Application Logs, Code Optimizer, SQL Trace, Transport, and Version Management.Familiarity with interface and messaging architectures including Webservices, PROXY, EDI/IDOC, and XI/PI.Experience with eCATT, Transaction Recorder, and BDC Programming.Strong adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle process.Ability to author and review technical specifications, Unit test documents, Test scripts, and Code review.Engage with online developer communities and SAP support network for knowledge sharing and issue resolution.Possess an in-depth understanding of SAP architecture and familiarity with industry standard incident management tools such as Remedy.Collaborate effectively with multiple teams including partner organizations for incident management, resource allocation, and reporting.Good to Have (Not Mandatory):Experience in SAP S4 HANA ABAP Development, AMDP, CDS, BOPF.Knowledge of the SAP S/4HANA stack.Experience with SAPUI5, SAP Gateway modeling, and SAP PERSONAS with frontend JAVASCRIPT development.Familiarity with BRF+ coding, Restful ABAP Programming (RAP), ABAP Cloud, SQL Monitor (SQLM), SCMON.In-depth knowledge and work experience on developments using OO Programming.This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering high-quality results within defined timelines.
