We are looking for a Senior Science Editor preferably from Chemistry background to join our editorial team based in Laxminagar, East Delhi, the Editor will be responsible for content, language and copyediting Science school books. The editor will also be involved in the peer review process and evaluating the content of manuscripts.Key responsibilities of this role will include:First round edits of articles, ensuring that articles are well written, consistent and factually correctCopyediting of manuscripts for language and readability in line with house style and policiesChecking factual content and raising queries with the Managing Editor when necessaryAssessing authors responses to edits and editorial commentsInvolvement in the peer review process, including identification of problems with plagiarism.The successful person will have:Educated to a minimum of Postgraduate level in the relevant field is essentialExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to manage high quality work whilst working to tight deadlinesThe ability to maintain a level of scientific knowledge appropriate to the roleStrong IT skills with ability to work on Digital contentWell versed with CBSE and ICSE curriculum and latest changesThe candidate should be well versed with latest changes as per NEP/NCF PRB
