As an employer, TAB Surfaces strives to provide an exceptional working environment.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager at TAB Surfaces located in Hosur. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing financial statements, performing analytical tasks, creating and managing journal entries, overseeing finance operations, and managing fixed assets.ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain a comprehensive set of accounting records in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).Process financial transactions including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures.Calculate and deposit TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and GST (Goods and Services Tax) in accordance with relevant regulations.Maintain strong working relationships with tax authorities and auditors.Assist with budgeting and variance analysis.Analyse financial data, identify trends, and prepare reports for management.Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.Maintain a strong understanding of accounting software (e.g., SAP and Tally.ERP 9).Train and mentor junior accounting staff.QualificationsMinimum 10 years of experience in accounting within India.Proven understanding of accounting principles and practices.In-depth knowledge of TDS, GST, and other relevant Indian tax laws and regulations.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP and Tally.ERP 9).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good liaisoning in Income Tax, GST, and other departments in Hosur.
