Requirements:Matric 3 years driving experienceMust have valid drivers licence Code 10Valid dangerous goods certificateValid forklift licence will be an advantageMust have a driving record that is acceptable to the companies and its auto insurance companyMust be able to push, pull, lift and/or transfer up to 30 kgAbility to act as a positive adult role modelAbility to monitor and direct the work of others, e.g., Driver Assistant.General interpersonal skillsCertification in First Aid and CPR will be an added advantage.Effective oral and written communication.Committed to self-improvementDuties and responsibilities:To perform scheduled pick-ups and deliveries as instructed.Ensure that all payload on route is safely loaded and that all measures will be taken to ensure no stock losses occur.To ensure the delivery vehicle is maintained and in proper running order.Always keep the delivery vehicle clean and neat.Complete daily vehicle checks, log sheets and driver health check diligently and correctly.To check and sign that all stock being loaded per delivery is correct and corresponds with the pick ticket and delivery note.Responsible for fuelling the truck and submitting tickets for purchase of such fuel to the supervisorAssist the storeman/ supervisor with inventory as directedAttend and successfully complete all necessary staff orientation and training functions.Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols implemented by the company at all times.Report all incidents immediately to the office and complete an Incident Report form timeously.Assist the storeman / supervisor with inventory as directed in the storeIMPORTANT NOTICEBy applying to this advert you hereby acknowledge that you have read and accept the following Protection of Personal Information ACT (POPIA) disclaimer:I hereby consent for Talented Recruitment to process my personal information as part of the recruitment process.
