AdvoTek Recruitment is sourcing a contract Quality Assurance Analyst for a 6-month contract starting in May 2024, with the possibility of extensions for our trusted client's Claims Systems project. The client, a financial services firm located in midtown Toronto, has a solid history of continued customer success and increased technology innovation within finance, Investment, and Insurance.Our client is offering an hourly market rate and is currently hybrid with an expectation of at least 2 days onsite in midtown Toronto (not on the Yonge TTC LINE) The QA will work collaboratively in an offshore/onshore team of 5 or more QA SMEs. They will be required to write and execute test cases using Business Requirements with the teams as well as help with automated testing (no scripting) The contract QA ideal profileMinimum of 4-5 years experience in a QA role in an enterprise environmentAt least three years of experience with onshore and offshore QA teams in an enterprise environmentExperience in the financial industry, preferably Individual Life, Group Life, or P and C Insurance experience.Project experience with a claims system and other insurance experience involving modifying or creating Insurance productsExperience using the MS Azure Test Case and Defect Management Tool is great but MUST have AML experience Interpersonal skills to interact heavily with all levels of staff from CEO, SVP, and VPs to managers and other staff.Sound judgment and decision-making skills to act effectively in resolving issues as they arise.Excellent communication skills, including solid presentation/communication/facilitation skills (verbal and written).
