CustodianOrange CountySchoolsPositionSummary:Underthe direction of the school principal and custodian leader, thecustodian/handyman performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilledjobs in the maintenance, construction, alteration, and repair ofbuildings, grounds, and equipment. This position also providesquality custodial services to the education, administrative, andsupport units on school campuses. This position works Mondaythrough Friday from 12pm until6:30pm.Toensure success you need to prioritize tasks and take pride in yourwork. Top candidates will be energetic, upstanding, anddexterous.Responsibilities:Responsiblefor the performance of facility maintenance such as light plumbing,changing of light ballasts, and bulbs, carpentry, painting, andother repairs at all assignedsitesResponsiblefor maintaining the property through janitorial duties i.e.,cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming offacilities.Duringwinter months Cleans snow from entrances and sidewalks at allassignedsites.Responsiblefor grounds maintenance to include sweeping, landscaping and otherwork at all assignedsitesAssistwith set up/tear down of tables and chairs for groupmeetings.Assistsin checking facilities for safety hazards and report anydeficiencies.Responsiblefor ensuring all windows and entrances/exits are secured at end ofworkshift.Conductsregular maintenance of property such as pest control, machines, andalarmsystem.Responsiblefor moving of furniture and supplies as directed bySupervisor.Tracksmaintenance repairs throughout property and conducts daily/weeklybuildingwalkthroughs.Responsiblefor maintenance and cleaning the school and itssurroundings.Maintainingcleaningequipment.Maintaininginventory of cleaning agents andequipment.Pleasesee HR for information on physical demands and work environment ofthisjob.SunshineEnterprise USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities,Females, Veterans and Disabled PersonsJanitorial,Schools,CleanlinessRequirementsBasicknowledge of cleaning equipment andagents.Abilityto work with minimalsupervisionPhysicallyagile anddexterous.Resilientto cleaning agents andchemicals.Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and agents.
