Participates in strategicplanning activities for specific projects (e.g., risk assessment,bid/no bid analysis, participation in business plan development,etc.). Provides technical guidance to assigned personnel, andensures proficiency and timeliness of contract administration.Makes staffing assignments and reassignments as project needsarise. Recruits, interviews, and evaluates prospective employees.Hires, takes corrective action as required, and approvesterminations. • Collaborates with Client and projectmanagement consultant to ensure proper support in proposalpreparation, as well as contract negotiations and administration.• Reviews requests for proposals to identify risks andcontractual terms not conforming to policy. • Negotiatesthe more difficult, complex, or sensitive issues with clients.• Maintains an active participation in relatedprofessional societies to keep abreast of relevant contractualissues. • Performs other responsibilities associated withthis position as may be appropriate. • Requires acomprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and thenegotiation of prime contracts. Skills Ideally B.Sc. degree inCivil Engineering/Quantity Surveying/Construction MinimumExperience 15 years of prime contract administration and managementexperience within in a large international engineering andconstruction firm with at least 10 of them working in a similarcapacity on with similar companies supporting large constructionand infrastructure projects
