Radio-Canada News and Current Affairs is looking for a Cross-Platform Chief Editor who will be assigned to the investigative reporting show Enquête.

To succeed in this role, you must have extensive experience in investigative journalism, insightful knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada's Journalistic Standards and Practices (JSP) and sound editorial judgment. You must also have strong writing ability in order to respond to audience complaints as well as be familiar with the operation of our Legal Services team.

You will be responsible for supervising sometimes complex investigative reports in compliance with our JSP. You will also be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and monitoring the production of news content for TV, radio and digital platforms. Your creativity and knowledge of current newsgathering trends will also enable you to generate original, innovative story ideas to evolve programs and content across our TV, radio and digital platforms.

You must provide leadership while maintaining respectful and constructive relationships with team members, Legal Services and management in accordance with corporate workplace health and safety policies.

You must also perform administrative tasks related to your employees' day-to-day work.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

Qualifications:

University degree in journalism or a related fieldTen (10) or more years' journalism experienceSkills:
