Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical systems.Coordinate with department leadership to plan, design, and schedule the release of all software, hardware, and operating system updates.Install and manage all components of the IT infrastructure, with a handle on Juniper or other next-generation network appliancesImplement and maintain security measures, including firewall rules and VPN configurations, to protect the company's data and systems from cyber threats.Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to identify technical needs and implement effective solutions.Develop and enhance processes and technical documentationJOB QUALIFICATIONSAssociate or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in IT operationsProficiency in major Windows server components: AD, RDS, IIS, WSUS, GPO, DNS, SSL/TLS, Working knowledge of cloud virtualization technologies such as AzureStrong knowledge of systems and networking softwareExcellent knowledge of common protocols: TCP/IP, HTTPS, SSH, SMTP, SNMP, IPSec, VPNExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environmentAdditional Assets:JNCIA/CCNA+ CertifiedOther certifications: CompTIA+CSPCISSPMSCA+ Software Development
