Teaming up with Robert Half, they're in search of a seasoned and dynamic VP of Operations to spearhead major change management initiatives!Process creation and standardization, strategy execution, and people focus lie at the heart of this role. With their head office in Edmonton and multiple facilities across Canada and the United States, this organization has earned recognition for their product quality and innovation. Reporting directly to the executive team and ownership group, you'll be the architect ensuring smooth operations and aligning the workforce to achieve a common vision.Key Responsibilities:Lead and drive regional operations for efficiency, quality, and profitability.Deploy lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and foster continuous improvement.Develop and execute strategic plans in line with organizational goals.Mentor and oversee production functions, nurturing the succession plan for General Manager, Production.Ensure alignment of Quality, Maintenance, and Safety teams with production objectives.Collaborate with stakeholders to effectively drive change management initiatives.Mentor and groom the next generation of successors to ensure sustained profitability and market expansion.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.Minimum of 15 years progressive experience in senior operations management within the manufacturing sector.Proven track record in implementing lean methodologies and driving operational excellence.Strong analytical prowess and effective communication skills.Ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving strategic objectives.Exceptional financial acumen to drive profitability alongside financial leadership.Solid mechanical engineering knowledge, including best practices in preventative maintenance.Demonstrated success in change management and continuous improvement leading to increased market share and profitability.Additional requirements for the role: Experience in a diverse stakeholder environment preferred.Tup to 25% travel required.If you're a results-driven leader with a passion for driving change and achieving operational excellence, this is your moment.
