The employee is appointed as: Sales Agent to render services generally associated with this position. Duties will include but will not be limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

• Calling the lead database that is provided by management and converting these leads into quality sales for the company.

• Managing large amounts of outbound calls in a timely manner

• Delivering prepared sales scripts to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or service

• Identifying and overcoming objections, clarifying information, and providing solutions when necessary

• Seizing opportunities to upsell products when they arise

• Ensure that all data/ personal information that is provided by the client is captured correctly for valid sales to be loaded.

• Building sustainable relationships and engaging customers by going the extra mile

Targets:

• Achieve and exceed daily/ monthly and individual sales targets that are set by management.

• Employees are required to work effectively within a team environment to achieve monthly team sales targets.

Development:

• Employees are to maintain a clear course of action to achieve long and short-term goals in an organised manner.

Reporting:

• Assist when required in preparing and providing various sales reports for the sales manager.

Etiquette:

• To perform your duties to a high professional and ethical standard.

• To maintain a high professional and an ethical profile in accordance with industry and company standards.

• Employees are required to treat colleagues and customers in a manner which demonstrates integrity, honesty, and fairness.

• Maintain a well-groomed and business appearance.

General:

• Employees are expected to perform any other tasks necessary for the conduct of the employer's business, as the employer may from time to time direct.

Requirements and skills

• Matric Certificate

• Computer literate

• Experience in a call centre environment

• Proven track record in sales
