VACANCY OVERVIEW ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Airswiftare a Global Manpower Provider specializing in the Energy,Infrastructure & IT sectors. We are workingwith our client based in Qatar to source a Electrical Engineerroles under Operations & Readiness Department. This is a 3- years residential contract to be based in Qatar. Qualification:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. CharteredEngineer status or equivalent is preferable. Minimum 12 yearsrelevant post graduate experience, of which 10 years in Oil& Gas industry with an international reputable Operatingcompany. Experience in operations and maintenance is mandatory.Skill / knowledge of International, Shell DEPs and/or QP standardsrelated to his area of expertise and Design Software related toElectrical Engineering such as ETAP, CYME Model, etc. Exposure withinternational consulting company, EPIC contractor withprojects' pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up andHand-over activities is an added advantage. Possess soundfundamentals in his discipline area. Shall possess very goodtechnical skills in his discipline. Possess good communication,presentation skills and fluent in English language Primary Dutiesand Responsibilities: Provide technical support and assureoperations team in the Electrical engineering for the assignedprojects, in order to achieve the required technical quality andintegrity of work while considering projects, Operations andMaintenance requirements and objectives in terms of safety, timeand cost. Responsible for provision of the required qualitytechnical support in the area of Electrical engineering expertisethrough all stages of the project. Verify and review technicaldesigns, documents and bids in accordance with approved standardsand to meet Operations, Maintenance, Asset and Pipeline Integrityand HSE requirements. Ensure Scope Preparation Completeness Reviewand hands on experience in HV/LV Sub-stations, switchgears, Motors,CP system, Small power and lighting, earthing, VSDS, All othermotors, Batteries and protection relays. Plan and coordinatebetween Operations, Maintenance and Asset Integrity teams to ensureproject requirements are met and aligned. Identifies potentialhazards during Engineering activities (as applicable) such asDocument Review, Design Safety Review workshop, SAFOP, HAZID,ENVID, HAZOP, QRA, FERA, etc., participates in technical meetings,commissioning activities,
