Responsibilities: 1. RHEL System Administration: - Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers and associated components. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources. - Implement security measures to protect RHEL systems from potential threats. 2. RHEL Deployment and Upgrades: - Plan and execute RHEL server deployments, ensuring proper configuration and integration with the existing environment. - Conduct system upgrades, patches, and updates to keep RHEL infrastructure up-to-date. 3. System Automation and Scripting: - Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine system tasks and configuration management. - Streamline system administration processes using scripting and automation tools. 4. RHEL Security and Compliance: - Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments on RHEL systems. 5. Troubleshooting and Support: - Provide advanced technical support for RHEL-related issues, including root cause analysis and resolution. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems. 6. Backup and Disaster Recovery: - Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for RHEL systems. - Test and verify backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity. 7. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of RHEL infrastructure, configurations, and procedures. - Share knowledge and best practices with the IT team to enhance overall technical capabilities. Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 2. Proven experience as an RHEL Engineer or Linux System Administrator. 3. Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, including installation, configuration, and management. 4. Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible). 5. Understanding of networking concepts and protocols in Linux environments. 6. Experience in implementing security measures and conducting security audits on RHEL systems. 7. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) is desirable. 8. Effective communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
