Job descriptionEnerMech is hiring Air Spread/ Leak Testing Technician for the Canada LNG project in Kitimat, BC. This is an on-rotation job at a camp. All expenses such as lodging and food are provided. You will be provided airfare from major hubs in Canada to get you to and from site.A Leak Testing / Air spread Technician I with EnerMech Mechanical Services will be expected to report to the Operations Manager and provides support to the Supervisor by executing operations for one or more of EnerMech specialty services (e.g. Filling, Flushing, Pigging, Leak Testing, Hydrotesting, Dewatering, Conditioning, Bolting, Torqueing, and Tensioning Operations).Accurate, legible, and efficient completions of field paperwork in order to prevent any delays in invoicing and to ensure all aspects of the project are properly catalogued and recorded per EnerMech policies, procedures, and project specific contracts.Working closely with the Supervisors/Engineers/Project Manager in identification of project-specific equipment spreads and being responsible for the quarantine, assembly, and function test of project-specific equipment.Ensuring the Project Load Out Lists are accurate and up to date by communicating daily with the project team; ensuring the quarantine areas are easily identified and marked to verify boundary of equipment.While not assigned on a project, working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the warehouse and surrounding facilities are in good working order, all equipment is functioned tested and properly stowed for future projects.Operating and maintaining project-specific equipment in accordance with project-specific procedures, EnerMech & Client policies, and manufacturer instructions.Providing support to all EnerMech business lines as required.Demonstrating a personal commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment.
