Job descriptionEnerMech is hiring LOF Technicians for project in Kitimat, BC Canada. This is a project at a camp, all expenses, meals, lodging and airfare are provided. Must be authorized to work in Canada.As a Technician for EnerMech Mechanical Services, you will be expected to comply with department procedures, operate equipment and participate in the effective operation of industrial services activities.Participate effectively, safely and maintaining quality as a technician within crews with minimal supervision by Leading Hands whilst utilizing good communication skills with all EnerMech and client team members in order to operate in an efficient, safe, flexible and dynamic manner on projects as directed.Must be able to work in Canada & have a Canadian Visa.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Lube Oil Flushing in LNG setting.Operation of Dehydration units.Operation of multiple style flushing pumps.Rigging in/out of plant systems.Basic bolting works Operating compressor Operating dryer Fill up fuel for equipment.Fill out check sheets daily for equipmentSource fitting required for hook-upsQUALIFICATIONSNational Construction Card - Site Ready British Columbia5 Year Experience in LNG/Petro Chemical Lube Oil flushing ScopesOperation of Lube Oil Dehydrators & Flushing PumpsDrug and Alcohol TestBackground CheckCurrent valid driver's licensePREFERREDHeavy Rigid Truck LicenseSenior First AidEXPERIENCE, COMPETENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGEWillingness to learn and participate in learningIndustrial ExperienceWork across work scopes on the projectPREFERREDExperience in High Pressure Water jetting or similar high pressure pumpingExperience Operating pumpsHeavy Rigid Truck LicenseForklift LicenseElevated Work Platform LicenseWorking at heightsConfined Space & Gas MonitoringExperience operating Drying & Vacuum Drying EquipmentWork Experience in the Mining, Oil & Gas IndustryPERSONAL QUALITIESTeam OrientedGood communication skillsAbility to react, work under pressure and tight deadlinesAbility to work under own initiativeWillingness to accept new challengesFlexibility with working hours relating to operational requirements Oil and Gas
