Our team consists of skilled designers, horticulturists, ecologists, carpenters, and masons who are passionate about creating beautiful outdoor spaces that positively impact our clients' lives.Job DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as a Highly Experienced, Residential Landscape/Hardscape Foreman located in Vancouver, BC. The Experienced, Residential Landscape/Hardscape Foreman will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day tasks related to landscaping, hardscaping, and garden maintenance projects. They will lead a team and ensure that projects are completed efficiently, on time, and according to design specifications. The Residential Landscape/Hardscape Foreman will also collaborate with clients and provide exceptional customer service. Excellent knowledge and experience with paving stone, driveways, patio, and path installs, natural stone installation, concrete, retaining wall installation, turf and artificial turf Installations, garden installations, lawn and garden drainage, water features, and material installation such as soil, mulch and gravels, planting, excavation. Experienced in Masonry, tile, is an asset.QualificationsHigh - End Residential Landscape Maintenance, Gardening, and Irrigation skillsLandscape Design and Landscaping skillsExperience in managing and leading teamsStrong knowledge of local plant species and horticultural practicesAbility to interpret design plans and specificationsExcellent organizational and time management skillsEffective communication and customer service skillsPhysical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditionsCertification in landscaping or horticulture is a plusRequirements High School Diploma, GED or equivalentMinimum of 3-5 years of recent experience in the high-end residential landscape/construction industryMust have effective communication skills (both verbal and written) in EnglishKnowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices, plant ID is a bonusMust possess a valid driver's licenseCompetent in the safe and responsible use of power tools and equipment (cut-off saws, plate tampers, jackhammers, skill saws, sod cutters, drills, etc.)Physically fit with strong staminaGood analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a teamAbility to work under pressure and tight deadlinesEffective stress management, time management, and conflict management skillsAbility to operate skid steers and excavatorsWork Conditions:Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materialsAbility to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shiftAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWork near heavy equipment and other vehicles regularlyWork outdoors in various conditions including heat and humidity, rain, dust, noise, and coldKnowledge of Landscape Management Network is an assetKnowledge of Estimating an assetJob Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: $33.00-$45.00 per hourSchedule:8-hour shiftNo weekendsOvertimeSupplemental pay types:Bonus payOvertime payExperience:Foreman, Crew leader, skilled Labor: 3 years or more (preferred)Building & Hardscape Construction Occupations: 3 year or more (preferred)License/Certification:Driver's License (preferred)Landscape maintenance: 3 years (preferred)Work Location: In personApply/email your resume and cover letter to: info@tksbusinessconsulting.comOnly apply to this job if:You are a Canadian citizen, a permanent or a temporary resident of Canada.You have a valid Canadian work permit.If you are not authorized to work in Canada, do not apply. The employer will not respond to your application.
