Spiritwear Canada produces custom screen printed and embroidered apparel for businesses, schools, colleges and Universities throughout Canada. We are a leader in our industry and love what we do. We are currently looking for a talented graphic designer to join our team.The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for design and typography. This candidate will have experience in working with different design platforms such as digital and print forms. Must have experience working with spot colour separations.ResponsibilitiesCreate compelling and effective apparel designs while maintaining client brand guidelinesPrepare file separations for screen printing productionRedrawing/Tracing customer supplied logosPrepare files for cad cut vinyl applicationsPhoto re-touching for marketing mediaAbility to manage multiple tasks, maintain priorities and meet deadlinesOther design related tasks as neededQualificationsDegree in Graphic Design3 years minimum professional working experience in a pre-press production roleHighly proficient in the use of the Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, etc.)Experience working with spot colour separationsAble to create interesting and creative designsStrong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skillsPortfolio of workAble to Interact with clients in a professional mannerExtremely detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying mistakes (both written and graphically)We offer a creative professional work environment.
