This opportunity will be based at Air Canada's Montreal Headquarters in Dorval.

This is a central position within the Revenue Optimization team whose goal is to increase synergies between network planning and revenue management as well as provide decision support and modelling based on revenue management principles to support major commercial strategies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical abilities, a strong understanding of economic principles and a passion for the commercial aspects of the aviation industry.

Responsabilities: Support the Revenue Management (RM) demand calibration process in case of major network or competitive changes in collaboration with commercial and Revenue Optimization teams.

Support technical and commercial processes to efficiently transform our network simulator outputs into actionable insights for AC's revenue management community and beyond.

Assist in the development of insightful models, tools and processes between Revenue Management and Network planning to identify and address synergies (i.e., demand surges, capacity bottleneck, network simulation, etc.).

Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of Revenue Management and Network Planning tools (OD3, Netline-Plan, scheduling, etc.).

Develop tools to ensure cohesion and coherence in short, medium, and long-term demand forecasts used in Revenue Management and Network Planning teams.

Conduct revenue optimization analysis for the RM branch to identify trends, assess strategies to improve revenue generation and, at time, support larger commercial projects with revenue management expertise.

Guide development of insightful reports and dashboards to support commercial processes.

Qualifications University degree in Economics, Analytics, Business, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering or equivalent. Master's degree an asset.

Experience in revenue management, network planning, or equivalent in an airline or similar industry setting.

Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work autonomously.

Ability to cope with changing priorities and tight deadlines.

Conceptual, analytical,''and problem-solving skills supported by creative thinking.

Must be able to synthesize complex situations, identify possible solutions and present results in simple and understandable terms.

Additional assets Experience with origin-destination revenue management or network planning tools.

Technical skills to manipulate and analyze large datasets and transform them into clear business insights, an asset.
