As a result, we have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join our team. This is a fulltime, permanent role ideally based in our Auckland.
Job Description
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and actioning the day-to-day queries via effective relationship management of Fidelity’s key advisers. This role will contribute to the success of the operations teams and facilitate service excellence, through the comprehensive understanding of New Business, Existing Business, Claims and Underwriting queries. Some day-to-day responsibilities include:- Developing and maintaining outstanding working relationships with advisers as well as taking ownership and providing clarity and certainty to advisers
- Providing accurate product and systems knowledge to key advisers as required.
- Being the first point of contact for our top tier advisers.
- Accurately documenting all customer interactions using in house systems.
- Actively managing and reporting on key adviser and new business pipelines, ensuring that key deliverables are met, and service standards are upheld throughout business processes.
- Understanding commission structures, Advisor Support systems (CRM) and a technical understand of the Eapp system from an inputting perspective for Adviser support.
- Partaking in New Business processing overflow where required.
- Processing applications / submission and requirements on behalf of key advisers to help expedite urgent cases.
- Ensure 90+ days pipelines are effectively managed and kept within desired levels
Desired Skills and Experience
About You With proven experience in relationship management at a key account level you’ll have a high level of commercial acumen, strong communication (verbal and written) and solid interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building lasting relationships . You will be a dynamic and engaged key account manager who excels at building strong, meaningful connections. You are passionate when it comes to delivering excellent service with a customer centric approach. Your sales drive and resilience will ensure your success in this role. Together with this you will bring:- 2 to 4 years’ experience in general sales operations; experience supporting partner activity preferred.
- Ability to learn and utilize full potential of new technologies.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- Solid understanding of the insurance industry is desirable.
