Job Description

This Human Resources (HR) Specialist position is a technical specialist who provides the Company with a one-of-a-kind service based on extraordinary knowledge, competence, and experience. HR Specialists work under minimal supervision and provide paraprofessional help in HR functional areas such as recruitment, onboarding, personnel records, employee relations, regulatory reporting requirements, benefits administration, and other areas as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Orients new workers to the HR Information System and performs data input into the HR Information System. It is the responsibility of this position to ensure that data is entered accurately and thoroughly and that workers are aware of all company regulations and procedures, including those included in the employee handbook.
  • Employees are informed on the company’s human resources policies and processes (e.g. Time Off with Pay, Tuition Reimbursement, etc.).
  • The purpose of this job is to contact and hire candidates in a way that meets or exceeds monthly and annual targets while creating positive experiences for both the candidate and the hiring manager.
  • Maintains records of insurance coverage, retirement plans, and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and other personnel and payroll matters.
  • Responds to employee personnel enquiries and enters, edits, Adds, and deletes appropriate information into the HR Information System. Reports any odd or unresolved issues to the HR Manager for follow-up.
  • It is critical to project confidence, expertise, and empathy while interacting with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Regular and special reports benefit greatly from trend analysis, which identifies problem areas with little opportunity for error and a high degree of relevance.
  • The HR Generalist will take care of employee-related issues and concerns, as well to stay in close contact with facility management and Corporate HR. The main goal is to ensure that the company has a good relationship between its employees.
  • The timekeeping system handles employee leave in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Completed performance reviews, wage/salary transactions, and disciplinary actions in the Company’s HR information system on schedule and within permitted authority.

Skills:

  • Human resources, labor relations, employment law, or a related subject requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
  • It is necessary to have communication abilities.
  • HR principles, policies, processes, and basic employment legislation all necessitate a thorough grasp and familiarity with them.
  • A proactive problem-solver who pays attention to client cues and aggressively handles issues with grace and honesty.
  • Candidate must have an insatiable drive to learn and improve his skills, as well as good leadership and management qualities.
