POSITION DESCRIPTION: District Union is currently looking for a maintenance employee for its rental property. Are you said to be a versatile person, agile with your hands and with a keen sense of organization? You are the person we need!
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administration
Responsible for all purchases related to maintenance
Management
Coordinate the work of the housekeeping and maintenance teams
Efficiently Manage the equipment inventory
Ensure that business processes are effective and resident services are of a high quality
Establish quality standards that are in keeping with established norms
Inspect buildings and coordinate interviews according to established standards
Plan, organize and manage maintenance work including that of subcontractors
Construction
All other related tasks
Maintain property areas and systems
Maintenance and monitoring of equipment (mechanical rooms, electrical rooms, pumps, furnaces, valves, etc.)
Make service calls
Manage apartment renovations in accordance with the program established by general management/the general manager
Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
2 to 3 years of relevant experience
Good communication
A DEC in business administration or any related dicipline
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)
Car required
