Business Development Consultant/Manager

Our client, a player in the Real Estate Investment Industry is looking to hire highly competent, well-presented, professional Business Development Managers/Sales Consultant in the Abuja and Lagos offices to support and assist the company's growth plans in Nigeria. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career and work for an international real estate investment company (with a particular focus on UK property). Responsibilities

  • Sourcing leads and developing relationships with M-HNW investors in Nigeria who have an interest in UK property investment. 
  • Identify clients’ needs and financial goals to make real estate investment recommendations.
  • Develop knowledge of UK property market and investment process to become an expert in the field.
  • Sourcing and developing relationships with business partners to open up new sales channels to distribute the group’s properties and increase sales volumes.
  • Maintain a high level of activity to meet KPIs – notably in terms of leads generated and sales achieved.
  • Work with integrity, be a brand ambassador for the Group, and provide clients with impeccable customer service.
Requirements and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline and Microsoft Office competence.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills with a proven track record of delivering sales
  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience in Real Estate Management/Wealth Management/ Financial Services with a good understanding of Real Estate. 
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated as well as being a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ideally have experience working in international markets or be well traveled/have a global mindset and strong understanding of what is going on globally from a macro / microeconomic and geopolitical standpoint.
  • Strong social media skills for business development – LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc,
  • Proactive and able to think out of the box.
